About the role

Malek Fahd Islamic School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join their dynamic team in Hoxton Park, NSW.

This full-time position offers a rewarding opportunity to shape the education and development of young learners within a supportive, faith-based environment.

This is a temporary role until the end of Term 4 with possibility of extension into the new 2026 school year.

What you'll be doing

  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the NSW Curriculum
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine teaching resources and strategies
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching practice
  • Contribute to the broader life of the school community through extracurricular activities and events

What we're looking for

  • Relevant teaching qualification and registration with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
  • Demonstrated experience teaching in a primary school setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Ability to differentiate instruction and cater to diverse learning needs
  • Commitment to fostering a nurturing, values-based learning environment
  • Enthusiasm for continual professional development and a willingness to contribute to the broader school community
