About the role

CS Education is seeking a dynamic and experienced Primary School Teacher to join our team on a casual basis. As a Primary School Teacher (Tutoring), you will be responsible for providing tailored tutoring and learning support to primary school students in the Strathfield area. This is a great opportunity to make a positive impact on the educational outcomes of young learners while enjoying the flexibility of casual work.

What you'll be doing

  • Delivering engaging and effective small group tutoring sessions to primary school students
  • Assessing students' learning needs and designing personalised lesson plans to address skill gaps and support academic progress
  • Providing regular feedback to students, parents, and the CS Education team to track student progress
  • Collaborating with the wider CS Education team to share best practices and continuously improve the tutoring program
  • Maintaining detailed records of student progress and attendance

What we're looking for

  • A valid teaching qualification and current registration to teach in NSW
  • Minimum 2 years of experience teaching or tutoring primary school students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and the CS Education team
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple students and schedules effectively
  • A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students reach their full potential
