Primary Teacher

Remuneration: $60 – $80/hour + superannuation

Matrix Education is now hiring casual Primary School Teachers to join the team at our Castle Hill, Strathfield, Epping, Chatswood, Strathfieldor Hurstville campuses.

This role is ideal for a current Primary Teacher or a postgraduate student (MTeach, Hons) seeking an ongoing casual teaching position with regular weekly hours.

Our classes run after school on weekdays and on weekends and would be ideal for a current school teacher who is looking to for extra casual working hours or is considering stepping away from schools and would like to try teaching in a new environment

You will have the opportunity work with a fun and talented team in a beautifully resourced campus with fantastic classroom resources.

Minimal lesson preparation is required as lessons and resources are prepared for you.

What you'll do…

  • Teaching regular weekly classes in English, mathematics and critical thinking.
  • Providing ongoing feedback and consultation on class resources.

What you'll need…

  • Possess a genuine passion for teaching.
  • Previous experience teaching primary students in a classroom setting.
  • Have extensive knowledge of the current NESA stage 2 and 3 curriculum.
  • Have completed their degree in Education, Teaching or a related discipline.
  • Postgraduate studies in the above listed disciplines will be highly regarded.
