We are on the lookout for passionate educators to join our growing team and help us shape the future of our emerging Beach Kindy Programme in collaboration with our dynamic management team, Kristy and Annie.

We are constantly evolving and seeking ways to enrich the learning experience for both children and educators alike. Our Beach Kindy programme is a key part of this evolution, offering children an exciting opportunity to engage with nature, explore the beach environment, and foster a sense of connection to the world around them.

Positions: Early Childhood Teacher/ Early Childhood Educators
Location: Capers Early Learning Scarborough
Reports to: Management Team – Kristy and Annie
Job Type: Full-time/Part-time (Flexible options available)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver High-Quality Education: Provide a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment that supports the development of each child. Utilise our child-led play-based philosophy, and inquiry-based learning to foster creativity and curiosity.

• Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with Kristy, Annie, and fellow educators to develop and implement the Beach Kindy Programme. Contribute to program planning, documentation, and evaluation.

• Foster Relationships with Children: Build meaningful and respectful relationships with children, encouraging them to develop independence, social skills, and a love of learning.

• Support Family Engagement: Partner with families to support their child's learning journey. Maintain open communication, provide updates, and engage families in the learning process.

• Contribute to a Positive Work Culture: Bring your unique ideas, energy, and enthusiasm to contribute to a vibrant and supportive team culture. We believe in continuous learning and growth for both educators and children

What We're Looking For:

• Passion for Early Childhood Education: A genuine love for working with young children and a belief in the power of play and exploration in learning.

• Experience & Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor of Early Childhood, a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or working towards).

  • Experience in early childhood settings is preferred —if you're a passionate person with a growth mindset and want to be part of building something special we want to hear from you

• Team Player: You're a collaborative spirit, willing to share your ideas and learn from others. You thrive in a team environment and actively contribute to the centre's culture.

• Adaptability & Flexibility: You are ready to evolve with our emerging Beach Kindy programme, excited by new ideas and challenges that come with working in a nature-based curriculum.

• Commitment to Quality: You understand the importance of high-quality early childhood education and care and are dedicated to delivering this in every aspect of your work.
