About the role

We are now seeking an experienced and passionate Childcare Worker to join our team in Scarborough, WA. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and engaging educational experiences for children in our early learning centre.
- A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- 3 years of demonstrated experience working as an Early Childhood Educator, preferably in a similar early learning centre environment
- Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children and their families
- A passion for creating engaging and enriching learning experiences for young children
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Current First Aid and CPR certification, and a valid Working with Children Check
- Create and implement age-appropriate learning programs that foster the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of children
- Providing a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment that supports children's wellbeing and encourages learning through play
- Planning and leading engaging activities for children such as games and storytelling
- Monitoring children during their recreational activities and overseeing children while present at the centre
- Developing strong relationships with children and their families, promoting open communication and collaboration
- Observing and documenting children's progress, adjusting teaching strategies to meet their individual needs
- Ensuring the centre's compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to early childhood education
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of the centre's programs and practices

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Work Authorisation:
