We are now hiring for an Event Operations Lead – Sydney to join our team to deliver the United Cup Sydney. This is a full-time fixed-term contract until June 2026.
As this is seasonal role, we require full availability and flexibility across the summer months, November – February. If you're ready to help us serve up real impact, we'd love to hear from you.

About the role
As Event Operations Lead – Sydney, you will support the planning and operational delivery of the United Cup Sydney. In this role you will:
- Oversee operational requirements, including temporary infrastructure, site overlay, and event services
- Manage suppliers and logistics to ensure smooth on-site delivery
- Prepare and distribute key operational documents including bump-in/out schedules, safety info, and supplier communications
- Use project management tools to track progress and support post-event reporting
- Manage budgets, purchase orders, and financial reconciliation
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in event management or a similar, with the ability to deliver under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with diverse stakeholders and suppliers
- Experience managing event logistics, including safe and efficient bump-in/out
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
- Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis NSW
