Ovolo Hotels is looking for a savvy, energetic and wildly creative Senior PR/ Communications Executive to join our Australian team. If you live and breathe great storytelling, know your way around PR and social, and love hospitality that breaks the rules then let's talk.
This role champions the voice of Ovolo across Australia, from hotels and restaurants to campaigns, activations, guest experiences and brand moments. You'll partner closely with our local and Hong Kong teams to deliver stand-out PR, social and content that gets people talking.
The Gig
We have an excitingly new opportunity for a Marketing Communications Executive to come on-board with us at Ovolo Hotels. Reporting to the Marketing Communications Director, you will be assisting our hotel GM's & HOD's to ensure a smooth transition of marketing communications. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Coordination of promotional and contra activities with third parties and suppliers
- Manage PR activity: media relationships, pitching, press releases, FAQs, press kits and daily enquiries.
- Maintain media databases, coordinate Tourism Agency & PR/Social agency partnerships, and support press monitoring.
- Oversee website updates, digital alignment (SEO/SEM/PPC), content for HEARSAY, and all property Instagram accounts.
- Coordinate F&B content with local teams and agencies; develop paid social strategies; track and analyse performance.
- Support video, UGC and Reels/TikTok content creation; identify real-time engagement opportunities.
- Manage marketing inbox, budgets, invoices and monthly media reporting.
- Coordinate photography, design requests, collateral and ensure consistent, on-brand content across channels.
- Assist with brand storytelling, campaign narratives, copywriting, and F&B activations. Track and report on PR activity, clippings and ROI
- To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
About you
- 3–5+ years' experience in PR, communications, digital or marketing (hospitality/lifestyle preferred).
- Someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and loves variety in their day.
- A natural storyteller, with strong writing, editing and content creation skills.
- Social media–savvy, PR-confident and ready to build connections in the industry.
- Organised, proactive and able to juggle multiple projects with flair.
- Passionate about creating memorable moments and elevating brand experiences.
