We are looking for values-driven, compassionate, and empathetic FEMALE Support Workers to join our unbeatable team at our brand new SDA Housing in Beacon Hill.

You will be providing support for two women within their home and out in the community. Home and community-based activities are centred on their needs and interests, such as going shopping, to the cafés, or supporting them if they need to be driven to various appointments or to visit their families.

We are looking for reliable, committed, and empathetic individuals to provide quality care as a Support Workers.

THE ROLE INCLUDES:


• Delivering personalised support


• Providing in home support by assisting housemates at mealtimes, with personal care and administering medication


• Supporting housemates to engage and participate in their community


• Complete and enter any case notes for housemates you have directly supported into the Client Management System

YOUR SKILLS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:


• Experience desirable, however we will train you along the way


• A passion for moving the dial for individuals with disability


• A commitment to providing responsive, person-centred, and considerate care


• A positive and energetic personality


• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal


• Flexible and adaptive communication skills, with a willingness to learn.

REQUIREMENTS:


• Able to work weekday mornings


• Possess or be willing to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check and a Working with Children Check


• Possess or be willing to obtain a Current First Aid & CPR (HLTAID003) Certificate


• Fully Covid Vaccination including Booster


• Full NSW Driver's Licence, or P2


• Rights to work in Australia
