In this role you will:
- Learn and be mentored in the art of IT Selling with a view to create an exciting and long term sales career in in a fun and high performing team
- Be curious , agile, dynamic and willing to work with many.
- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities through outbound outreach and have the appetite and confidence to call and talk to people
- Overcome, understand and accept rejection and objection to build trusted relationships.
- Build and nurture early-stage customer relationships from a pool of active accounts and understand how to build your own territory with a view to transition yourself into an Account Manager
- Qualify leads and respond to inbound inquiries to ensure fast and effective engagement quickly and concisely
- Migrate customers to our digital platforms and express the value in our offerings
- Work closely with distribution to obtain accurate, timely quotes for customer solutions
- Manage and update opportunities and customer activities in Salesforce
- Support promotional campaigns and vendor initiatives across your customer base
- Ensure customer satisfaction through prompt service and strong communication
About You
- A self-starter with strong initiative and the confidence to engage with people you've never met
- Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with clear activity targets
- Experience in sales, customer service or ICT distribution, ideally with 2+ years in a similar role ideal but not compulsory
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a customer-first mindset
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail when quoting and following up
- Adept at using sales tools (Salesforce experience a plus) and learning new systems
- A team player with the drive and ambition to progress into future sales roles
