Dental Assistant/Receptionist

We're a modern, friendly orthodontic practice on the Sunshine Coast looking for a Dental Assistant/ Receptionist who's equal parts caring, confident, and organised.  The practice will be opening in December so, if you're warm, chatty, professional, great with patients, and organised, we want to meet you

You'll be at the heart of the action - assisting chairside, keeping our clinic spotless and running efficiently. Every day, you'll play a role in helping patients understand their treatment with clear empathetic communication, helping transform smiles and making people feel good about themselves.

The essentials

• Mondays & Tuesdays: 7.45am – 5:00pm
• Alternate Saturdays: 8:00am – 12:00pm
• Hourly rate based on experience

About the role

• Chairside superstar: Anticipate the clinician's needs, prepare trays, and ensure every appointment runs smoothly and on time.
• Steri & setup pro: Keep instruments spotless and sterilisation protocols on point; your attention to detail keeps the whole team safe.
• Patient communicator: Explain procedures clearly and confidently so that patients (and parents) feel comfortable and informed.
• Welcome & WOW: Greet every patient with top-tier service, manage incoming calls, and create a calm, outstanding front-of-house experience.
• Smooth scheduling: Coordinate bookings to keep clinicians on time and patients happy.
• Admin & organisation: Maintain tidy records, follow up with patients, and stay on top of daily tasks without missing a beat.
• Team vibes: Work closely with your team mates to create a seamless, supportive environment where everyone shines.
