About the role

Calling all experienced Carpenters Patrick Gibson Building Services is seeking a permanent full-time Carpenter to join our talented team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of insurance, commercial and residential projects, contributing to successful outcomes for our clients, whilst having career growth.

What you'll be doing

  • Perform a wide variety of skilled carpentry work
  • Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate and compliant work
  • Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other tradespeople to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met
  • Maintain a safe and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
  • Perform general maintenance and repair work as needed

What we're looking for

  • Formal trade qualification in Carpentry (Minimum Certificate lll in Carpentry)
  • Proven experience as a Carpenter
  • Reliable transportation and current drivers licence
  • Supplying own tools of the trade is desirable, however not mandatory for the right applicant
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to deliver high-quality work
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to precise specifications
  • Reliable, adaptable, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety
