We're in search of eager and driven individuals to embark on an exciting career journey as Carpentry Apprentice with **Action Trades & Apprenticeships**. Are you interested in mastering the art of building homes and the gratification of seeing a project through to completion? If so, this is the career path for you
As a Carpentry Apprentice with **Action**, you'll:
- Engage in diverse projects, from new home constructions to renovations and commercial ventures.
- Work full-time, putting in a minimum 38 hours a week.
- Undertake training with our Host Employers, ensuring you become trade qualified within 4 years.
If you're a recent school graduate, we encourage you to apply. With guidance from seasoned professionals, you'll:
- Construct wall and ceiling frames, pitched roofs, eaves, and external stairs.
- Lay sub-flooring and floorboards.
- Execute tasks like nailing fascia panels, fitting exterior cladding, and assembling door and window frames.
- Utilize various hand and power tools, perform calculations, and may even construct concrete formwork.
To be eligible for this exciting opportunity, you should:
- Demonstrate a keen interest and commitment to the Construction industry.
- Possess a White Card; or are able to obtain one promptly.
- Hold a current Driver's License and own reliable transportation.
- A Certificate I or II in Construction is advantageous, and prior construction industry experience is preferred.
- Be physically fit, self-disciplined, detail-oriented, reliable, and motivated to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Exhibit a capacity to follow direction and prioritize safety for yourself and your team.
As an **Action** apprentice, you'll also enjoy various benefits, including award wages (paid weekly), tool allowances, Super, and Holiday Leave.

Pay: $42,760.00 - $50,000.00 per year
