Group Mobility & Travel Manager

This newly created role offers a unique opportunity to lead and shape the delivery of mobility, travel, and fleet services—bringing together a cohesive mobilisation and travel experience for employees across the organisation. You'll champion a best practice global mobility framework that supports safe, legal, cost-effective, and enjoyable national and international work experiences for our people and clients, enabling our market-led business to thrive. You'll be responsible for enabling our strategic goals across this portfolio, including transitioning our fleet to more sustainable options; mobilising our people with a heavy emphasis on trans tasman; and establishing new ways of working with a strong focus on process improvement and operational efficiency . This role supports our future-fit business and sustainability goals while enhancing the employee and workplace experience.
Building trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders will be key to facilitating seamless domestic and international mobility. You'll oversee vendor and contract management to optimise value and reduce risk, while ensuring compliance with company policies, immigration regulations, and travel procedures—including tax, pension, and employment law obligations., You'll deliver holistic analysis and reporting on mobility and travel-related activity, aligned to group strategy. As a people leader, you'll foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture, ensuring service excellence and technical capability development. You'll stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement. Risk mitigation and global compliance—particularly in partnership with third-party providers—will be central to your success in this role.

You are a strategic and collaborative leader with deep expertise in mobility, travel, and fleet operations. With a proven track record in designing and delivering global mobility frameworks, you bring a sharp focus on compliance, cost-effectiveness, and employee experience. You understand the importance of risk mitigation and global compliance, and you're confident navigating complex regulatory landscapes, often in partnership with third-party providers. Your ability to manage the breath of a role, from vendors and contract management, to influencing fleet decisions aligned to sustainability goals, to overseeing the seamless relocation experiences, whilst ensuring operational excellence across the business.
Your analytical mindset and attention to detail enable you to translate business needs into actionable solutions. You're a natural leader who builds high-performing teams, fosters a culture of continuous improvement, and communicates with clarity and influence at all levels. You stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and efficiency. You're passionate about creating a positive employee and workplace experience, and you embrace process improvement to support a future-fit business.
