We are seeking a professional and caring person to be the face of reception at a busy front desk and deal with various administration tasks. Patient care is of the utmost importance in this practice from consultation to clinical procedures and post-procedure management.

This fabulous opportunity is located in the Melton, with all-day parking nearby.

Days required:

Day time and evening shifts 3-5 shifts a week.

Duties include:

  • Meet and greet patients
  • Running consulting sessions
  • Preparing and receipting consultation accounts
  • Billing of procedures
  • Preparing theatre lists
  • Answering telephone
  • Booking patient appointments
  • Data entry of patient details
  • Open and close practice
  • General admin. duties - scanning, faxing, filing, etc.
  • General cleaning of the reception area, Consultation rooms and Kitchen
  • End-of-day duties

Essential Criteria:

  • Ability to protect patient privacy and confidentiality
  • Sound communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with doctors, staff, patients, and other healthcare professionals in a friendly and professional manner at all times.
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Ability to work within a team, as well as independently
  • Ability to prioritise and organise workflow effectively
  • Basic computer skills

The successful candidate must be able to work within a team environment and display a calm and friendly manner. Salary is on skill level and experience.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.23 – $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
