Contracts & Tendering Officer

2 Positions Available | Permanent Full Time | 40 hours per week with monthly ADO
$42.33 per hour (HS4)
We are seeking an organised individual to join our team as a Contracts and Tendering Officer, based at our Ballarat campus. The purpose of this position is to coordinate, support, and assist in the preparation of compliant, best-practice contracts, agreements, and tenders, using established Grampians Health processes related to the procurement of goods and services for all departments across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the management and execution of all new and existing contracts and agreements
• Provide procurement expertise to Grampians Health tender programs to complement the range of procurement; including HealthShare Victoria activities
• Facilitate tender preparation including liaison with program managers, suppliers and third parties through to tender evaluation and contract execution
• Have a full understanding of probity requirements in relation to Grampians Health procurement activities
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of local and external systems that underpin contractual and tendering framework
• Maintain specialised knowledge of contractual and procurement compliance requirements including government legislation

Skills And Experience

• Cert IV or tertiary qualification in Business Management is desirable
• High level skills and experience in project management & data analysis
• Experience with tenders, contract management and procurement
• Knowledge of key concepts of tender principles, probity requirements
• Knowledge & capability with technology and other procurement systems
