As the Senior Analyst, Data Engineer joining the Personal Bank Data and Analytics team you will partner with colleagues across Data and Analytics to ensure efficient and effective delivery of priority initiatives and use cases for Business Stakeholders whilst joining a team who are doubling down on customer obsession.

In this role you will:

  • Collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders to understand requirements and contribute to the design of the outcomes.

  • Work closely with the Data Engineer Manager to prioritise and execute backlog.

  • Deliver on the development, testing, and maintenance of data pipelines to deliver scalable and sustainable data assets for Audit.

  • Clearly communicate and present ideas, challenges, and outcomes to stakeholders

  • Support Personal Bank Data Analytics resources in the end-to-end data delivery for dashboards and analytics

What you will bring:

  • Demonstrated programming proficiency, primarily in SQL and Python.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and innovative thinking

  • Effective communication skills with a diverse range of stakeholders, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical audiences

  • Demonstrated experience working on a variety of platforms (AWS, Databricks) and tools (Airflow, Jenkins, Git, Erwin) Demonstrated experience with ETL, data modelling and DevOps concepts

  • Demonstrated experience collaborating in an Agile team
