Inspire a better world through influence and design.

Ready to design the future of Fire Protection in the Mission Critical environment?

Following continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, we are looking for an
Associate Fire Protection Engineer
to join our
Mission Critical team
. This role can be based in
Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane
and offers a unique opportunity to work on high-profile data centre projects and mission-critical infrastructure for some of the world's leading technology clients.

Who We Are

Founded in 2011 in Australia, ADP Consulting is a trusted, sustainability-led engineering consultancy with an international footprint that is renowned for finding the best technical and sustainable solutions to the most complex projects, wherever these may be.

ADP Consulting is committed to inspiring a better world through influence and design, collaborating with industry leaders who are equally as passionate about innovation, design excellence and, importantly, our impact on the planet.

ADP Consulting has now joined forces with Ayesa, one of the world's largest technology and engineering companies, in a move that facilitates new pathways and accelerates our growth.

What is your role?

You will lead the design and documentation of fire protection systems specifically for mission-critical data centre environments, including both wet and dry systems such as sprinkler systems, fire detection and alarm systems, and hydrant and hose reel systems. You will guide projects from concept through to construction, ensuring robust and resilient protection measures suitable for data centre operations.

You will work closely with architects, project managers, builders, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver integrated design solutions that support uptime and operational continuity. Your work will ensure compliance with Australian Standards, the National Construction Code (NCC), and local authority requirements, while also addressing the unique risks associated with data centres.

You will conduct site inspections and collaborate with contractors during construction to maintain quality and compliance. Supporting risk assessments and contributing to fire engineering strategies will be key to ensuring life safety, asset protection, and continuity of critical operations. You will engage directly with clients to understand their needs and deliver innovative, tailored fire protection solutions that meet both regulatory requirements and performance goals. In addition, you'll mentor and support junior engineers, fostering knowledge sharing and promoting technical excellence across the team.
