About the Role

We're looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Installer & Service Technician to join our skilled Melbourne team. In this role, you'll install, maintain, and repair our premium sleeper cab air conditioning units in trucks. You'll work in a supportive small scale team and interact directly with our valued customers to deliver outstanding service and technical solutions. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, with overtime available.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Install Icepack air conditioning units in a variety of truck makes and models
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults
  • Carry out routine maintenance and servicing
  • Create custom installations based on customer needs (e.g. vinyl interiors, control panels, TVs, microwaves)
  • Support the sales team with technical advice

What We're Looking For

  • Strong mechanical and auto electrical knowledge (truck or heavy vehicle experience highly regarded)
  • Experience with installing, maintaining, or repairing air conditioning units is well regarded but not necessary
  • Great communication and teamwork skills
  • High attention to detail and a professional, confident approach
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • A flexible, can-do attitude with a focus on quality and safety
