About the role

Long Contracting is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Malvern, Victoria. As Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of construction projects from start to finish. This is a full-time position that offers excellent opportunities for professional growth and development.

What you'll be doing

  1. Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
  2. Coordinate and collaborate with consultants, subcontractors, and clients, to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  3. Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions as needed
  4. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental regulations
  5. Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders and clients
  6. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our project management processes and best practices

What we're looking for

  1. Significant experience (4+ years) as a Project Manager in the construction industry
  2. Proven track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects
  3. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations
  4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  5. Proficient in project management software and tools
  6. Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing project requirements
  7. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field
