We're looking for a dedicated and organised Assistant (2IC) Service Manager to work alongside our Centre Director, guiding our talented team and ensuring a high-quality learning experience for up to 126 children.

In this role, you'll enjoy a balance of operational leadership, educator support, and family engagement. You'll be trusted to step into the Centre Director's role when needed and will play an active part in shaping our service's culture and success.

Your Impact as Assistant (2IC) Service Manager

  • Support the Centre Director in overseeing day-to-day operations, compliance, and administration

  • Mentor and guide educators, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment

  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and the local community

  • Manage rostering, enrolments, and quality documentation

  • Lead the team in delivering engaging, play-based learning aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)

What You'll Bring

  • Diploma (or higher) in Early Childhood Education and Care, approved by ACECQA

  • Proven leadership experience as a 2IC, Assistant Manager, or similar role in early childhood education

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the EYLF and NQS

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills

  • Current ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Registration

  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications
