About the role

We are seeking talented and motivated Law Clerks to join our team at Spink Legal in South Brisbane. As a casual Law Clerk, you will be providing invaluable support to our legal professionals, contributing to the efficient and effective delivery of high-quality legal services to our diverse client base.

What you'll be doing

You will be working closely with our professionals and other law clerks:

  • Assisting with the drafting and proofreading of a variety of estate and commercial documents and correspondence

  • Conducting legal research and analysis

  • Providing administrative support, such as scheduling appointments, managing client inquiries, and coordinating with external parties

  • Organising and maintaining electronic files and matter workflows

  • Developing a strong understanding of the firm's practice areas and contributing to the team's ongoing professional development

What we're looking for

You will:

  • be studying a degree in Law with a strong academic results

  • have excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • show strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure

  • be proficient in using legal research tools and software applications

  • have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and our team

  • show a proactive and collaborative approach to work, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
