Do you have a minimum of 4+ years Australian external audit experience?Are you available for an immediate start and to relocate to Darwin, NT?Would a contract job till Nov. 2025 with possible extension /permanent job suit? Our client is a reputable mid-tier accounting firm based in Darwin, known for delivering high-quality audit and advisory services to a diverse client base. They are seeking an experienced Senior External Auditor to fill a maternity leave position from now until November 2025. This contract may be extended or it could turn into a permanent job.

This is a client-facing role, with senior responsibilities that requires you to hit the ground running.

Duties and responsibilities include working in a team on larger audits and running smaller full cycle audits independently and with a small team. 

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years' Australian External Audit experience in a 1st or mid-tier firm, be CA or CPA qualified and preferably be a Darwin-based Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Candidates with 2-3 years' Australian audit experience and 3+ years' overseas external audit experience will also be considered.

Sponsorship may be offered after a qualifying period of 6+ months to those with full-time working rights and at least 12 months remaining on their visa.
