Now, we're expanding our lending division and are looking for a skilled and motivated Loan writers/Processors l to be part of this exciting journey.

You'll work with seasoned professionals across multiple departments, providing tailored lending solutions for clients purchasing investment properties within primarily a SMSF structure. You'll report to our Head of lending and be supported by an experienced team.

This is a role for someone who enjoys building relationships, working within proven systems, and guiding clients through some of the most exciting financial decisions of their lives. Additionally this role will be a fantastic fit for an individual who wants to contribute to the ongoing enhancement of processes and systems to support the exciting business growth of the lending operation.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end mortgage process, including loan assessment, evaluation, application, and settlement.
  • Assess client needs and pre-qualify borrowers to match them with suitable lending products.
  • Prepare, submit, and manage loan applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with lender requirements.
  • Liaise with lenders, valuers, conveyancers, sales teams, and clients to progress applications smoothly through to settlement.
  • Provide clear and timely communication to deliver a seamless and supportive client experience.
  • Assist with additional duties as required to support the broader loan processing function.

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of three years experience in a similar role.
  • Cert IV in Mortgage Broking (preferred).
  • Experience using Flex (advantageous).
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail and critical thinking abilities.
  • Proactive, self-starting mindset with a passion for customer outcomes.
