**About the Organisation**:
Australian Red Cross is an internationally established movement, bringing people and communities together domestically and internationally in times of hardship while building on community strengths. As humanitarians, Australian Red Cross put people first, listening to, understanding, and respecting each other.
**Role Summary**:
You will be responsible for delivering compelling and effective appeals; understanding, analysing and co-ordinating donor data; and giving supporters the best possible experience when they donate. This role will suit someone with strong direct marketing skills and works within the Engagement and Support Fundraising team to achieve shared goals across a range of products, campaigns, and projects.
You will be responsible for the planning and implementation of the supporter touchpoints within revenue generating programs. Act as the central co-ordination point for your team engaging with supporters across regular giving, individual giving, mid-value and raffles.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Responsible for the delivery of captivating and innovative appeals
- Work with copywriters and creatives to craft meaningful and impactful communications to donors
- Deliver and optimise the donor journey across allocated programs supporting revenue and engagement goals
- Work with channel specialists and the communications team on the execution of touchpoints ensuring supporter needs are met
- Liaise with teams to set-up financial processing for products/programs/campaigns
- Work with the Data Science team on activity code management
- Report KPIs against program and product strategies, budgets and targets
- Manage holistic data brief for products/programs/campaigns
- Ensure initiatives meet regulatory requirements and standards
**Skills & Attributes**
- Strong understanding of Direct Marketing techniques using multiple channels, with a focus on direct mail
- Experience in creating compelling messaging that is targeted to specific donor groups
- Demonstrable ability to work as part of a team with multiple priorities and projects at any one time
- Highly developed communication, collaboration and presentation skills
- Excellent project management skills
- Demonstrated ability to build positive internal relationships at a variety of levels
- Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, and decision-making abilities
- An innovative, data led approach that is driven by donor research
