Ablepoint Australia is seeking a compassionate, bubbly, and professional Support Worker to join our team in Parramatta.
You will be supporting a lovely woman who responds well to cheerful, firm, and encouraging personalities. The role includes personal care, community access, and driving her wheelchair-accessible van. Shifts are generally 8 hours long, so a consistent and reliable presence is essential.
Key Responsibilities

Provide personal care, including hygiene, grooming, dressing, and mobility support
-
Prepare meals and perform light household duties
-
Drive a van fitted with a wheelchair lift to support client transport
-
Assist with community access, including appointments and outings
-
Encourage independence and maintain a respectful, empowering presence
-
Follow NDIS guidelines and Ablepoint protocols

Work 8-hour shifts, with flexibility for weekends and public holidays
Required Skills and Experience
-
Previous experience in personal care and disability support
-
Confidence working with wheelchair users and using mobility equipment

Experience operating a van with a wheelchair lift

Warm, bubbly personality with the ability to be firm, respectful, and proactive

Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills

Flexible availability and commitment to 8-hour shifts
