Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the delivery of engineering aspects for ITS projects, from design through to completion, ensuring all deliverables meet time, budget, and quality targets
  • Prepare, maintain, and execute project delivery plans
  • Support tender and business case development, incorporating ITS design requirements, risk management, safety in design, and lessons learned
  • Manage project interfaces with related works and internal/external stakeholders
  • Identify and allocate deliverables/tasks to the maintenance schedule baseline
  • Troubleshoot delivery issues and escalate when required
  • Participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives
  • Support onsite project delivery (note: ITS works are typically completed at night)
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant specifications and Australian standards
About You:
  • Degree qualified in Electrical, Mechatronic, Control Systems Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in ITS design, installation, operation, and troubleshooting
  • Strong understanding of traffic signals, ITS, and street lighting systems
  • Skilled in scheduling, planning, procurement, and subcontractor management (desirable)
  • Familiarity with TfNSW specifications and Australian standards (preferred)
  • Proven experience in engineering design and project delivery, ideally in road infrastructure
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience with SAP is highly regarded
