Marketing & Events Coordinator

With the launch of Eacon Mining Technology Australia Pty Ltd in December 2023 and with the significant milestones of 2024, we have not only established our new office in West Perth but have also expanded collaboration with our partners and clients. We are rapidly growing, and as such, we are looking for talented professionals to join our thriving team in Perth.

We are seeking an Marketing & Events Coordinator. This role is offered on a full-time basis and suits an experienced professional with at least 5 years' experience. The role will report to our Chief Operating Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for exhibitions and customer events, including planning, budgeting, vendor sourcing, design, logistics, and on-site setup.
• Responsible for supplier management (e.g. video/photo production, printing, merchandise) to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
• Responsible for video production projects, including planning, coordination among stakeholders, and on-site shooting organisation and communication.
• Manage and grow the company's LinkedIn account, ensuring consistent tone, branding, and engagement.
• Coordinate communications with media and partners to secure greater brand exposure and promotional opportunities.
• Proven experience coordinating and managing events (in-person and virtual).
• Creative and innovative approach with strong event management skills.
• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Update website content and manage email marketing campaigns (EDMs/newsletters).
• Collaborate with the China team to capture project updates and support global content creation.

Essential Criteria:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• Hands-on experience in event planning, video production, and supplier coordination.
• Familiar with LinkedIn operations, website updates, and email marketing tools.
• Strong communication and coordination skills, with cross-cultural teamwork experience.
• Proficient in PowerPoint
• Willing to learn and understand complex technology and products.
• Comfortable working in small business /start up environment

Desirable Criteria:

• Video editing or basic design tools (e.g. Adobe)
• An eye for design and a commitment to maintaining brand consistency
• Mandarin speaking with proficient English skills is highly regarded
