Our United Food Co is a family-owned Food Wholesale business, established in the year 2000, growing rapidly across Australia. We provide exceptional great products & service to the Independent Supermarkets & Food outlets across all states

The Company is enjoying continuous growth & expansion, therefore seeking a suitably qualified individual for this new role as State Manager WA. We are seeking candidates who can demonstrate a successful career to date working ideally in the FMCG industry, in a managerial capacity, that's focused on developing both our business and our people.

About the company and the role:

An exciting opportunity exists for a positive & passionate FMCG independent Territory Manager to join our team at Our United Food Company in WA ( 1 position North of the river and 1 position south of the river with some regional trips involved with overnight stays

The purpose of this role is to effectively manage, promote and sell our product range within the independent retail trade in order to maximise brand exposure, sales volumes and profits.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible in developing and increasing business opportunities within the Independent Supermarket Trade and working with 700 + lines.

In addition, you will be required to:

  • Increase sales opportunities through new and existing customers
  • Attend & engage in sales meetings as per request
  • Deal with customer orders, enquiries and following up on any issues
  • Promote exceptional sales through the endorsement of new and existing products
  • Use your visual merchandising skills to display material and activating in  store promotions & activations

Knowledge, skills and attributes:

You will need possess the following skills:

  • Sales experience background within Grocery FMCG with strong selling experience with direct lines.
  • Great communication and organisational skills
  • Sales skills with the ability to up-sell
  • Exceptional planning and organisational skills, with a proven ability to successfully manage multiple priorities.
  • A genuine passion for achieving goals and developing the business through your negotiation, selling and merchandising skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills with the ability to operate iPad devices
  • Analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Capable of working under pressure in a team environment
  • Show initiative with a positive can-do attitude
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Understanding direct sales to all Independent Supermarkets & Fruit Barns
  • Be a team player within the group
