The Role

We are seeking a qualified Contract Administrator to join our team in Alice Springs.

Tasks Include

The Contract Administrator will be responsible for, but not limited to:

Assisting and working alongside the Project Manager and various other stakeholders.

Scheduling works and staff efficiently and overseeing the works to ensure that they are completed toa high standard.

Providing on going administrative support including managing paperwork associated withcontracts, programs, projects and services provided.

Quality control of all works.

Ensuring all contract KPI's are met.

Creating, reviewing and negotiating variations to the scope of works.

Assisting with invoicing all works.

Meeting reporting requirements to both internal and external stakeholders.

Ensuring all plant, equipment and vehicles under the contract are well maintained.

Liaising with sub-contractors to obtain the most competitive prices, issuing sub contract orders andco-ordinating works to be completed.

Control of in-house stock and keeping to budgets.

Liaise with client to keep them updated with the progress of works.

Attend monthly contractor meetings with the client.

Reporting to Division Manager and Operations Manager.

Skills/Experience

Degree or Diploma in Project Management/ Construction Management / Civil Engineering

Minimum of two years' experience in Building and Construction and experience supporting Project /Construction Managers in the delivery of development projects.

Be a self-starter capable of working without direction or micro- management.

Be able to multi task effectively.

Be well presented and an effective communicator.

Possess excellent commercial awareness with strong relationship building, influencing and negotiating skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
