What you'll be doing?
  • Client portfolio management: Take ownership and responsibility for a diverse range of clients, including high-net-worth family groups, hedge funds, and SMEs.
  • Tax expertise: Prepare client tax compliance and address complex tax issues, leveraging your knowledge of the Australian taxation system.
  • Financial advisory: Provide CFO advisory services, including budgeting, forecasting, profit analysis, and due diligence.
  • Team development: Assist in mentoring and training junior staff, contributing to the growth of the firm's talent pool.
  • Problem-solving: Apply your analytical skills to develop innovative solutions for clients, going beyond just identifying issues.
Who are they looking for?
  • Qualified accountant: Hold an Australian CA, CPA, or Tax Institute qualification with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Tax system knowledge: Possess a minimum of 1-2 years of experience with the Australian taxation system.
  • Tech-savvy: Demonstrate proficiency in cloud-based systems and software such as Xero, with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
  • Detail-oriented: Exhibit strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Team player: Show a collaborative spirit and consultative approach with clients and colleagues.
