The role:

GSL Group is expanding our Engineering Survey Division.

With new infrastructure and civil projects underway, we are looking for a Project Surveyor to join our Melbourne-based team. The role is predominantly Night Shift (double-time).

Our Engineering division delivers high-precision control, setout, and 3D as-built services for complex road, bridge, and civil works, supported by the latest GNSS, robotic total stations, and LiDAR technologies.

These roles are ideal for surveyors who value accuracy, problem-solving, and hands-on technical work.

To be successful, you must have:

  • Relevant Survey experience or qualifications
  • Experience in construction and large civil infrastructure projects
  • Able to work autonomously and in a team
  • Flexibility to adapt and to improve procedures and practices
  • Excellent time management skills
  • White Card and current driver's license
  • Ideally, experience with
  • Latest generation Leica equipment
  • Autodesk Civil 3D
  • Right to live and work in Australia
