Job Summary

DT Infrastructure and Alstom have been awarded an AUD$1.6B contract by the Public Transport Authority of Western Australia (PTA) for the design, supply, construction, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of high capacity signalling technology for Perth's suburban rail network.

This Program consists of a number of discrete but interrelated elements affecting the PTA's existing radio communications, signalling and train control systems and railway operations more generally. The combined Program will be delivered over a timeframe of up to 10 years in stages; across the existing urban passenger railway network in the Transperth system as well as those parts of the railway network traversed by other rail operators, including Transwa rail services within the Perth metropolitan area.

We are seeking talented and driven HR Advisor to join the HCS Alliance, working with a dynamic and experienced team committed to delivering excellence. The HR Advisor will be accountable for providing advice and assistance to enable the HCS Alliance to achieve its goals through effective people management.

• Providing advice, coaching and support to managers and leverage best practice and leading edge tools to facilitate learning of managers about contemporary HR, IR and ER practices.
• Coordinate the annual HR processes (remuneration, performance appraisal etc.) for the Alliance.
• Implement and administer approved human resources policies and programs for the Alliance
• Ensure the Alliance practices comply with relevant standards, legislation and company policy.
• Facilitates discussions with management/key stakeholders to deploy processes to deliver Human Resources function including: Talent Management, Performance Management, Remuneration & Benefits, Employee Relations, Resourcing, Training, HR Operations.

• Bachelor of Human Resources and/or Business
• Construction Induction Card
• Demonstrable and successful 'hands on' experience in a related human resources management / Advisor role operating as an effective HR professional and being viewed as a credible, trusted Advisor.
• Experience in working in an Alliance environment (desirable).
• Knowledge and a sound understanding of contemporary HR management and workplace relations.
• Demonstrated ability to proactively build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders/clients to support the delivery of the Project.
• Experience in conducting investigations with best practice processes.
