The role:

Cater Care is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Chef Manager to lead the daily culinary operations at our aged care residence in Mosman, just a 15 minute drive from Sydney CBD. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional who is passionate about delivering an exceptional dining experience while ensuring a well-organised and efficient kitchen environment.

Description:

Roster: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm

Key responsibilities:

Dual responsibilities in food preparation/presentation and site management

Ensuring compliance with food hygiene and safety practices

Stock ordering, rotation, and stocktaking

Assisting with bulk cooking operations

Preparing and presenting texture-modified foods

Participating in staff hiring, with support from the Operations Manager

Skills and Experiences:

The ideal candidate will have:

A trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent

A Food Safety Supervisor Certificate

Experience managing labour, food, and operational costs

Previous experience in kitchen operations and/or site management

The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Exceptional presentation, communication, time management & attention to detail
