Ormeggio at The Spit has been awarded 'three glasses' every year since 2013 in the Gourmet Traveller Australian Wine List of the Year Awards

Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

- Meeting and greeting guests warmly upon arrival
- Clearly relaying the restaurant concept and introducing each dish throughout the experience
- Setting up tables and waiters’ stations in preparation for service
- Re-stocking sections post-service and ensuring readiness for the next shift
- Resetting tables efficiently to manage multiple seatings
- Providing thoughtful food and beverage pairing recommendations
- Checking, confirming, and accommodating dietary requirements with clear communication between FOH and BOH
- Confident use of MobiPOS system for order entry and payments
- Managing reservations and guest information via SevenRooms
- Presenting bills with professionalism and offering a warm fond farewell to close the dining experience

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a fine dining or hatted restaurant
- Fluent English and strong communication skills
- NSW RSA and full Australian working rights
- Knowledge of Italian cuisine, wine, and food pairings
- Proficiency in POS systems and SevenRooms
- Immediate availability preferred
- Completed hospitality studies, preferred, but not a deal breaker
- Speak Italian? Bonus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $31.23 - $62.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
