Role Details
We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Administrator to join our Group Information Technology team based in Adelaide. This role plays a critical part in successful design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the company's intranet portal, ensuring a seamless and effective digital workspace for all employees.
The role is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of Perilya's SharePoint environment, with a primary focus on supporting the migration of on-premise file servers and document management systems to SharePoint Online. The Administrator will provide expert-level technical support and maintain the health and security of the SharePoint and Microsoft 365 ecosystem after project go-live.
What You'll Be Doing
- Support the end-to-end migration of existing on-premise file servers and document management systems to SharePoint Online and OneDrive.
- Assist in the design, development, and deployment of the company's SharePoint intranet portal to improve internal communication and document management.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders across head office and mine sites to gather requirements and ensure project deliverables align with business needs.
- Help create and execute migration plans, including document mapping, pilot testing, and user communication.
- first- and second-level technical support for all SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365-related issues.
- Manage user access, site permissions, and security settings in accordance with company policies.
- Monitor SharePoint and OneDrive for performance, health, and compliance, taking proactive measures to resolve issues.
- Design and implement automated workflows using tools like Power Automate to streamline business processes.
- Integrate SharePoint with other Microsoft 365 applications, such as Teams, Power Apps, and Power BI, to create a cohesive digital ecosystem.
What You Will Bring
Essential
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in a SharePoint administration or support role.
- Proven experience in a SharePoint migration project, specifically from on-premise to SharePoint Online
- Experience developing workflows and integrating SharePoint with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem
Desirable
- Experience with third-party migration tools such as ShareGate.
- Relevant certifications, such as the Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator.
