About the role
Cafe Aroma Thornhill Park is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Barista All-rounder to join our vibrant team. In this casual position, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality coffee beverages in our popular cafe located in Thornhill Park, VIC.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing and serving a range of specialty coffee drinks, including espresso-based beverages, using premium coffee beans and the latest equipment
- Greeting customers with a warm and friendly demeanour, taking orders, and providing excellent customer service
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and presentation
- Assisting with general café duties such as restocking, food preparation, and cashier tasks as needed
- Working collaboratively with the team to contribute to the overall success of the café
What we're looking for
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Barista, with a passion for coffee and exceptional barista skills
- Strong customer service orientation and the ability to provide a welcoming and engaging experience for all customers
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities to handle the demands of a busy café environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with the wider café team
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- A positive, friendly, and professional attitude
