This role is for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer ready to step into the highest point of technical escalation and technical leadership with a global professional services firm that values a strong local culture. *What You'll Do:*

  • Design, implement and maintain core infrastructure services such as Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP to ensure robust system performance.
  • Manage and optimise a hybrid Microsoft 365 environment encompassing Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Entra ID (Azure AD) to support seamless business operations.
  • Administer Microsoft Intune for comprehensive endpoint management and compliance across devices within the organisation.
  • Oversee Azure IaaS/PaaS resources by ensuring cost-effective utilisation while maintaining security standards for cloud-based operations.
  • Implement and manage Netskope solutions to provide secure web gateway functions.
  • Monitor threats using Darktrace alongside other SIEM/SOAR tools to proactively respond to potential cybersecurity incidents.
  • Lead infrastructure projects including migrations and upgrades with minimal disruption to daily business activities.
  • Provide mentorship to junior engineers while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams on various IT initiatives.
  • Maintain thorough documentation, runbooks and disaster recovery procedures to ensure operational resilience.

*What You Bring:*

  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in an IT infrastructure roles, ideally within financial or regulated industries where security is paramount.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Windows Server administration, Active Directory configuration, Group Policy management and PowerShell scripting for automation tasks.
  • Extensive hands-on experience managing Microsoft 365 environments including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID (Azure AD) and related hybrid configurations.
  • Proficiency in administering Microsoft Intune for endpoint management as well as compliance enforcement across organisational devices.
  • Familiarity with modern security platforms such as Netskope for secure web gateways and Darktrace for threat monitoring within enterprise settings.
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including firewalls, VPNs, secure remote access protocols, and general network architecture principles.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting or operating within cybersecurity frameworks to uphold rigorous information security standards.
