About the Role

The Marketing Coordinator is a hands-on team player who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role supports the execution of Thinktank's marketing, sponsorship, and communication activities, playing a vital role in bringing our brands to life. From creating content to coordinating events and supporting sponsorships, the Marketing Coordinator helps ensure our marketing efforts are consistent, on-brand, and effective.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Support

  • Coordinate monthly marketing initiatives including broker newsletters, EDM campaigns, and LinkedIn content.
  • Prepare marketing assets such as social media tiles, sales flyers, and event materials.
  • Maintain up-to-date forms, templates, and branded materials.
  • Liaise with external suppliers (designers, printers) to ensure timely delivery.
  • Ensure consistent application of brand guidelines.

Sponsorship & Events Coordination

  • Support sponsorship activities across a calendar of events.
  • Assist with event communications and logistics.
  • Manage branded materials and merchandise orders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners for seamless event delivery.
  • Track and fulfil sponsorship benefits.

Communications

  • Assist in preparing internal and external communications.
  • Draft and proofread updates, change communications, and presentation materials.
  • Contribute ideas to improve engagement and clarity.

Teamwork and Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales, People & Culture, and Operations teams.
  • Support compliance with brand, regulatory, and operational standards.
  • Contribute positively to team culture and company initiatives.
Skills & Experience

Essential

  • 1+ years in a marketing support role.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Word).
  • Experience with email marketing or CRM platforms (e.g., Pardot).

Desirable

  • Experience in financial services or third-party distribution.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop).
  • Interest in brand and marketing trends.
  • Canva obsessed.

  • Passionate about marketing and communications—from colours to fonts and polished design.
  • Proactive, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
