Manager (Workforce and Capability)

The role is responsible for effectively leading a geographically dispersed team across all disciplines, including Human Resource Operations, Industrial Relations and Capability Development. The role will require high-level interdivisional communication across TMR to further Strategic Plans and provide expert advice to senior stakeholders, including RoadTek leadership team and General Manager. The incumbent will drive a positive workplace culture to ensure RoadTek continues to strive towards becoming a sustainable and contemporary organisation that empowers our people for success.
RoadTek's industrial landscape is complex across both a 'blue' and 'white' collar workforce with multiple Awards and Agreements.
The successful candidate will initially immerse themselves in the day to day HR Operations and Case Management functions of the role.
To be successful you will need:
• Demonstrated experience in a similar Human Resource leadership position.
• Strong generalist knowledge of HR, performance management, capability development, employee and industrial relations.
• Excellent organisational skills and thrives working independently in a fast-paced environment.
• A track record of overseeing complex case and performance management processes.
• A 'hands on' approach to working across all operational matters.
• Experience developing, implementing and actively managing all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to identify and drive the continual improvement of organisational development activities.
• The ability to work under pressure in an environment of competing priorities and managing multiple tasks within strict deadlines.
