Join us in our Maersk Logistics & Services team as a Customer Implementation Manager. You'll play a vital part in our success, developing, designing, and implementing innovative warehouse solutions, which bring standardisation, visibility, and actionability to our customer's supply chains.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled, Senior level Customer Implementation Manager, with experience in delivering large scale, complex projects in the Logistics space to join our growing team

You will be responsible for managing medium to large scale projects from inception to delivery, on time, and on budget across a range of areas from complex automated solutions, to new facility builds to support a huge growth agenda.

Key Responsibilities

  • To manage the successful delivery of programmes (multiple interconnected projects) or large complex projects which have high visibility internally and externally.
  • To lead teams in determining business requirements, and creating Implementation plans accordingly
  • To provide strong and effective management and leadership of all stakeholders
  • Ensure that all allocated projects/programmes are implemented successfully on time, within approved budget & to the highest quality.
  • Ensure that the level and skill of project resources are correct to enable the delivery of business projects and support the growth agenda. Identifying any gaps as required
  • Ensure Risks are identified and managed throughout the life cycle of the project.
  • Deliver high quality communications throughout the implementation, to ensure all stakeholders are aligned as required.
  • Issue escalation as required to ensure that the implementation remains on track
  • Identify and manage project risks through preventative and mitigating measures, ensuring these are pro-actively communicated
  • Ensure project delivery framework is applied and adhered to

Desired Skills And Experience

  • 5+ years experience in Supply Chain and Logistics
  • Bachelor degree qualified in Project Management, or related field (preferred)
  • Prince2 / PMP or equivalent certifications (preferred)
  • Experience in medium to large scale projects/ programmes
  • Experience directing cross-functional teams
  • The ability to communicate effectively with all levels within an organisation
  • Superior written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Confident in PC applications, including MS Office, Visio, and project scheduling software
