About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Mechanic (Light Vehicle) to join our team at Motor Mate WA in Morley, WA. As a full-time Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in servicing and maintaining a range of light vehicles to the highest industry standards.

What you'll be doing

  • Performing a variety of mechanical repairs and maintenance tasks on light vehicles
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues using the latest diagnostic equipment
  • Carrying out scheduled services and inspections
  • Ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality and safety standards
  • Maintaining detailed records of all work undertaken
  • Adhering to all company policies and procedures
  • Providing exceptional customer service throughout the repair process

What we're looking for

  • Formal qualification in automotive mechanics, such as a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
  • Extensive experience as a Mechanic, preferably in a light vehicle workshop environment
  • Proven ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of mechanical issues
  • Strong technical skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A commitment to safety and a willingness to follow all policies and procedures
  • A valid driver's licence and your own reliable transport
