About the role

Contribute to our inclusive team of 5 as our next Light Vehicle Mechanic. Reporting to the Owner/Director, this permanent full-time opportunity's tasks & responsibilities include:

• Providing expert advice in relation to mechanical condition of vehicles
• Mechanical vehicle repair and servicing including engine, transmission, body, and suspension components
• Reporting all necessary work, service or repairs to the Service Manager and recording information using service reporting systems
• Test driving and conducting final assessments prior to the return of vehicles to the customer
• Always maintaining a safe working environment
• Other general workshop duties where required

• Results driven with strong eye for detail & technical/mechanical ability
• Positive, calm demeanour, punctual with a strong work ethic
• Excellent communication skills both oral & written
• Reliable, conscientious, adaptable and customer focused

Experience and qualifications

• Must have Light Vehicle Mechanics Cert III or above
• Must have a minimum of 5 years, qualified experience
• Must live in Perth, Australia and have full working rights
• Strong ability to produce a high standard of work within a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of all relevant Health & Safety regulations within the mechanics industry
• Australian manual driver's licence
• Some tools are provided, if you have your own, that is a bonus
