About the role

BMG MOTORS seeking an experienced Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our team in Welshpool, WA. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for the servicing and repair of a range of light vehicles. You will be an integral part of our Automotive Trades team, contributing to the overall success of the business.

What you'll be doing

  1. Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs on a variety of light vehicles, both petrol and diesel passenger cars, vans and 4WDS
  2. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using the latest tools and technology
  3. Carry out vehicle inspections and provide recommendations to customers
  4. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner
  5. Maintain detailed records of all work performed
  6. Contribute to a safe and efficient workshop environment

What we're looking for

  1. Relevant trade qualifications in Automotive Mechanics or a similar field
  2. At least 2 years' experience as a Light Vehicle Mechanic
  3. Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
  5. Good communication skills and the ability to liaise with customers
  6. A passion for the Automotive industry and staying up-to-date with industry developments
