Part-time - Receptionist/Member Services
Hours: Wednesday - Friday - 9am - 5pm. Flexibility to work additional hours when required.
About the Queen Adelaide Club:
Offering an exclusive CBD location and setting, the Queen Adelaide Club is located on North Terrace and was established in 1909. It is a private Members Club delivering a premier level of Member Services ranging from fine dining, hospitality, leisure activities and private Club facilities.
About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced customer service professional to serve as the primary point of contact for Members and guests. This role combines delivering exceptional service with administrative and clerical responsibilities, ensuring the highest standards at all times.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience in a similar role and a passion for providing outstanding customer service. You will be adept at building strong relationships with Members and colleagues and will thrive working independently while supporting Management and other departments.
Key experience and attributes include:
- Proven experience in a similar reception role
- Strong telephonist and receptionist skills
- High-level interpersonal and communication abilities
- Well-developed customer service expertise
- Sound numeracy and accuracy skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
- A demonstrated ability to contribute effectively as part of a team
- Capability to prioritise diverse and changing workloads
- A flexible, proactive approach and a genuine willingness to learn and assist others
About you:
- Highly organised, efficient, with excellent time management skills
- Motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team
- Polite, friendly, and enthusiastic with a professional demeanor
- Excellent presentation and personal grooming
- Strong, positive work ethic with flexibility to adapt to varied tasks
- Integrity and respect for all, with the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Willingness to contribute to continuous improvement and the Club's development
- Experience in a Member-based organisation along with knowledge of Publisher, Micropower software, website and Adobe suite of products (desirable but not essential)
