About LifeFlight
LifeFlight Australia is a leading aeromedical organisation dedicated to saving lives through rapid response medical services. Operating a fleet of helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft, LifeFlight delivers critical care and emergency retrievals across Queensland and beyond. In addition to its lifesaving missions, LifeFlight runs a world-class training academy, equipping aviation and medical professionals with the skills needed for high-pressure environments. Our mission is to provide the highest standard of care and make a real difference in the communities we serve.

About The Role
As a Community Liaison Officer, you will play a key role in strengthening LifeFlight's connection with communities by supporting our high-level stakeholder programs, including the Regional Advisory Committees (RACs) and Wings of LifeFlight Delegates, as well as engaging with other local stakeholders. This position is vital to ensuring strong community engagement, linking regions with LifeFlight through well-governed programs and initiatives that align with our organisational priorities.

This is a permanent, full-time position (38 hours per week) based at our LifeFlight office in Robina QLD. Along with working within standard business hours, you'll also have the opportunity to travel and connect with our valued community supporters.

In This Role, You Will

  • Support LifeFlight's high-level regional community stakeholder programs through centralised coordination and quality guidance, ensuring activities are strategically aligned and effectively governed.
  • Act as liaison between regional stakeholders and LifeFlight departments, fostering strong relationships, two-way communication, and cultural respect.
  • Oversee governance and administration requirements, including accurate membership records, meeting documentation, and timely reporting, to ensure consistent program delivery.

About You
You're a natural relationship builder with a genuine passion for building strong community connections and making a positive impact. With experience in stakeholder liaison or community-focused roles, you bring strong communication skills and the ability to connect with people from all walks of life.

You'll Also Have

  • High-level interpersonal and written communication skills, enabling you to build authentic, trusted, and effective relationships with committees, delegates, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • A commitment to maintaining discretion and confidentiality when working with sensitive information or high-level relationships.
  • At least three years' experience in administration or program coordination, with the ability to keep projects on track and well-organised.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with a knack for juggling multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with experience in CRM systems (Salesforce experience will be highly regarded).
  • Previous experience in a not-for-profit or community-focused organisation, giving you an appreciation for mission-driven work.

If you're proactive, detail-oriented, and excited about supporting community programs that truly make a difference, we'd love to hear from you.

As an employee of LifeFlight, you have the opportunity to benefit from salary packaging, allowing you to allocate up to $15,900 per Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) year towards general living expenses. This includes covering various everyday costs like groceries, petrol, mortgage, rent, and school fees, providing you with added financial flexibility and support.
