Join Our Team at Northern Star Mining Services

Northern Star Mining Services is seeking a detail-oriented Cataloguing Officer to join our Procurement team. Reporting to the Purchasing and Warehouse Coordinator, this role is key to ensuring our Pronto catalogue remains accurate, relevant, and up to date.

Position Details:

• Job Title: Cataloguing Officer
• Location: Perth
• Employment Type: Permanent Full Time, Monday to Friday 8hr days

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and review catalogued items to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Standardise datasets, coding, and descriptions while eliminating duplicates.
• Ensure supplier descriptions, part numbers, and pricing are current.
• Assist with catalogue queries, stocktakes, and reporting on usage/critical stock levels.
• Support purchasing, site teams, and suppliers with catalogue-related matters.
• Travel to sites as required and undertake ad hoc duties.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2+ years' experience in Cataloguing/Material Master Data.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and ERP experience (Pronto preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Purchasing, Inventory, and Material Master Data standards.
• Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail with accurate data entry skills.
• Mining industry experience (Desirable)
• Flexibility to adapt to improved systems and practices (Desirable)
• Senior First Aid Certificate (St John) beneficial (Desirable)
