Global Head of Learning

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Sydney IPH office as our Global Head of Learning & Development, driving the learning and development strategy across our growing international Group.

The Global Head of Learning & Development is a strategic, future-focused leader responsible for driving IPH's learning vision across all member firms. Acting as a trusted advisor to the Chief People & Culture Officer (CPCO), Heads of HR, Operations teams, and regional leaders, you will ensure our learning agenda is tightly aligned with business priorities, engagement insights, and the evolving needs of our people.

This role blends strategic direction with hands-on facilitation excellence. You will shape leadership capability, embed core HR initiatives, uplift performance, and deliver a consistent, high-quality learning experience across our geographically dispersed workforce.

You will play a pivotal role in building a high-performing, connected and future-ready organisation – equipping our people with the mindset, skills, and confidence to excel today and into the future.

About you

Education and Experience

• 5+ years' experience in a Senior L&D leadership role within a global or matrixed organisation.
• Prior experience in a legal or professional services environment is preferred
• Proven track record designing and facilitating leadership development and capability programs within a professional services environment is highly desirable (systems, process and human skills).
• Exceptional stakeholder management and advisory skills – able to influence and coach at senior levels with authority and ease.
• Deep experience with competency frameworks, skills mapping, and engagement survey interpretation that formulate strategic L&D interventions and rollouts.
• Outstanding facilitation capability and ability to build psychological safety in complex group environments.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to align learning to business outcomes.
• Ability to navigate multicultural, geographically dispersed teams.
• Experience implementing LMS platforms, blended learning solutions, and scalable frameworks.
• Proficiency in using authoring tools such as Articulate 360 and Captivate are essential.
• Cert IV in Training and Assessment, coaching certification or accreditations in tools e.g. The Leadership Circle, DiSC accreditation,T and Mental Health First Aid qualifications desirable.
