Head of Tax - Global Leadership Role

We are exclusively supporting a global organisation in the appointment of a Head of Tax for a newly created, enterprise-wide role. This position offers significant exposure to senior leadership and plays a key role in shaping tax strategy, governance and transformation initiatives across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement a global tax strategy aligned with commercial and operational priorities.
  • Provide strategic tax advice to executive leadership on acquisitions, restructures and international expansion.
  • Drive global tax transformation initiatives, including automation, systems integration and process improvement.
  • Oversee global tax governance, risk frameworks and compliance obligations.
  • Manage relationships with global tax authorities and external advisors.
  • Act as the primary tax advisor to senior stakeholders and regional finance leaders.
  • Lead tax planning and advisory support for material transactions and business initiatives.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong technical expertise across corporate tax, indirect taxes and transfer pricing.
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to translate tax complexity into practical business advice.
  • Demonstrated experience operating in complex, multinational environments.
  • 15+ years' experience in senior tax roles within large corporates or top-tier advisory firms.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Law or related discipline.
  • CA, CPA and/or Master of Tax highly regarded.
