Public practice firm in Sydney CBD is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis in Sydney. You will play a crucial role in providing high-quality taxation and accounting services to our diverse client base.

Role includes

  • Providing tax planning and advisory services to clients
  • Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and management accounts
  • Advising clients on tax compliance and optimisation strategies
  • Conducting research and staying up-to-date with changes in tax legislation
  • Building strong relationships with clients and understanding their unique needs

What we're looking for

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a public practice accounting role
  • Excellent technical skills in tax preparation, tax planning, and financial reporting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, client-focused service
  • Experience in Xero, QuickBooks & MYOB AO
