About the Role:

With an existing range of contemporary design solutions to suit every client's unique budget, lifestyle and property requirements, we have a vacancy for a Manager of Design, to champion excellence, push creative boundaries and elevate existing designs.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Interpreting customer briefs and sales sketches correctly to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to deliver functional, budget-conscious designs that are innovative and sustainable
  • Proactively resolve design issues to maintain cost efficiency and compliance
  • Ensuring compliance with Council Development Control Plans and the NSW Complying Development Code is maintained.
  • Producing full sets of working drawings at various stages of the process by using ArchiCAD.
  • Mentor and support junior designers and contribute to their ongoing development
  • Working efficiently in a small team environment to ensure quality standards are adhered to, targets are achieved, and timelines are maintained.

About You:

A creative mind combined with commercial acumen you will bring strong design and technical skills with the ability to see a design through from concept to completion. You will also have:

  • 5+ years minimum experience working as a qualified Draftsperson or Architect.
  • Experience and proficiency using ArchiCAD.
  • Able to interpret and apply Development and Control Plans and the NSW Complying Development Code.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with strong time management and organisational skills.
  • You will have commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind.
  • Enthusiastic to work in a small team environment and eager to help others.
  • Able to produce a high level of accurate work, with a great attention to detail.
  • Have strong problem-solving skills and an ability to interpret drawings conceptually.
